Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-20
These Terms govern your access to Recued's public site, dashboard, marketplace, hosted services, and paid hosted convenience services. They also describe responsibilities that apply when Recued software interacts with those surfaces.
Recued Bridge has its own terms. It is a free standalone browser companion that does not sell, provide, unlock, or check entitlement for Recued Pro or any other paid service, and installing or pairing it creates no purchase, subscription, or paid-service relationship with Recued. Because it needs no account and no hosted service, these Terms do not reach it — the Bridge Terms govern it instead.
Recued is operated by RECUED LDA, a limited company registered in the Macao Special Administrative Region under registration number 114082 (SO), with its registered office at RM C1 9/F, Edf. Centro Comercial Chong Fok, 26-28 Avenida Marciano Baptista, Macau (referred to in these Terms as "Recued", "we", or "us").
- Local-first product — Most recipe execution and warehouse data live in your browser or on your self-hosted server.
- Paid services through Paddle — Recued Pro subscriptions are billed by Paddle as merchant of record.
- Use approvals carefully — You are responsible for the recipes, connected accounts, and actions you approve.
1. Agreement
By using Recued's hosted services, creating an account, publishing marketplace content, or buying a paid feature, you agree to these Terms. If you use Recued for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Merely downloading, installing, or pairing Recued Bridge with your own server does not enroll you in a hosted or paid Recued service. Bridge is not ungoverned, though: installing it forms the Bridge Terms, and the Privacy Policy, the AGPL, and browser-store rules apply to it as those documents describe.
If you do not agree, do not use hosted Recued services. Open-source components may still be used only under their applicable open-source licenses.
2. The Recued product
Recued includes several surfaces with different data and responsibility boundaries:
- Public site. Marketing, documentation links, pricing, legal notices, and support information.
- Webclient. Browser-based controls for pairing, recipes, approvals, run history, settings, and account flows.
- Recued Bridge extension. A free Manifest V3 browser companion for a user-paired server, governed by the Bridge Terms. It acts only on user-granted pages and approved workflows; it has no checkout, subscription, Pro promotion, or paid-feature unlock.
- Self-hosted server. Optional server software you operate on hardware, a VPS, or another environment you control.
- Marketplace and dashboard. Hosted account, publisher, review, publishing, and billing-management surfaces.
- Pro cloud convenience. Paid cloud conveniences — a
recued.netsubdomain and automatic HTTPS certificate issuance. Pro gates no capability; each convenience has a free self-hosted equivalent. (Your marketplace publisher handle is free with any account.)
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your account, browser profile, server, recovery keys, API keys, OAuth connections, and payment account secure. Notify us promptly at support@recued.com if you believe a Recued account or hosted service has been compromised.
If you choose to create an account or buy a hosted service, you must provide accurate account and billing information and keep it current. We may use account, billing, security, and entitlement records to verify access, prevent abuse, investigate disputes, and comply with legal obligations. No Recued cloud account or billing record is required to use Bridge with your own server.
4. Self-hosting and local operation
When you run recued-server or store data in your browser, you control that environment. You are responsible for backups, server updates, network exposure, TLS configuration, secrets, connected accounts, local law compliance, and any data you process through your own installation.
Recued hosted services are not a hosted copy of your self-hosted server. Hosted relay, account, marketplace, and billing features do not make Recued the operator of your local warehouse unless a hosted feature explicitly receives data as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Recipes, approvals, and connected services
Recued recipes may read, draft, transform, summarize, route, or write data in systems you connect. You are responsible for reviewing recipes, configuring permissions, approving risky actions, and making sure your use complies with the terms and policies of connected providers.
Do not use Recued to access accounts without authorization, bypass technical controls, send spam, harvest data unlawfully, deploy malware, perform credential theft, violate browser or platform policies, or automate activity that you could not lawfully perform yourself.
6. Marketplace content
If you submit recipes, ingredients, publisher profiles, documentation, examples, reviews, ratings, or other marketplace content, you represent that you have the rights needed to submit it and that it does not violate law, third-party rights, platform terms, or these Terms.
You keep ownership of your content. You grant Recued a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, display, distribute, test, review, index, and make available the content for marketplace, security, abuse-prevention, documentation, and product-operation purposes.
We may reject, remove, hide, rate-limit, or suspend marketplace content or publisher accounts when needed for review quality, security, legal, abuse-prevention, product integrity, or policy compliance.
7. Extension and browser-store compliance
Use of the Recued Bridge extension is governed by the Bridge Terms, which carry its permission disclosures, no-remote-code statement, and Chrome Web Store Limited Use commitments. This section is not a second copy of them.
Privacy practices for the extension, dashboard, marketplace, and hosted features are described in the Privacy Policy. If a store listing, product disclosure, or local build differs from that policy, do not publish or distribute it until the disclosures and behavior match.
8. Paid services, subscriptions, and taxes
This section applies only when you separately choose to buy Recued Pro or another paid hosted service outside Recued Bridge. Bridge does not display a checkout, initiate a transaction, advertise Pro, or read a paid entitlement.
Recued Pro is a paid hosted convenience subscription. Prices, billing interval, included features, and currency are shown on the pricing page, checkout, or in the billing flow before purchase. Unless a checkout says otherwise, Recued Pro is currently listed at $5.99 USD per month, including any applicable sales tax or VAT — the listed amount is the amount charged, not a pre-tax figure.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. For questions about an order, payment, refund, subscription, or tax, contact Paddle; for product and technical help, contact Recued at support@recued.com.
As Merchant of Record, Paddle may collect payment details, billing details, taxes, and fraud-prevention information and may send receipts, invoices, renewal notices, payment method update links, and subscription management links.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation, refund, tax, invoice, and payment-dispute details are covered in the Billing and Refund Policy.
9. Third-party services
Recued may connect to third-party services you choose, such as AI providers, CRMs, email providers, calendars, files, messaging tools, browser stores, infrastructure providers, payment processors, and open source distribution platforms. Those third parties are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Recued is not responsible for third-party services, pricing, uptime, model behavior, API changes, data practices, policy enforcement, or decisions by those providers.
10. Open source software
Some Recued code is distributed under open-source licenses, including AGPL where noted in the repository. Those licenses govern your use, copying, modification, and redistribution of the covered code. These Terms govern hosted services, account surfaces, paid services, and site use; they do not reduce rights granted by an applicable open-source license.
11. Availability and changes
Recued is provided on an evolving basis. We may add, remove, change, rate-limit, suspend, or discontinue features, documentation, pricing, integrations, APIs, marketplace listings, or hosted services. We will try to provide reasonable notice for material changes to paid hosted services where practical.
12. Disclaimers
Recued is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recued disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, and that recipes or AI outputs will be accurate, complete, safe, lawful, or appropriate for your use case.
You should review outputs, approvals, automations, and connected-system changes before relying on them, especially where legal, financial, medical, employment, safety, privacy, security, or other high-impact consequences may exist.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recued will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, third-party service failures, unauthorized local-server exposure, or actions you approve through recipes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recued's aggregate liability for claims relating to paid hosted services is limited to the amount you paid to Recued for the affected paid service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow some limitations, so these limits apply only where permitted.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Recued at any time. You can uninstall the extension, delete local data, stop your server, unpublish marketplace content, close your account where supported, or cancel paid services.
We may suspend or terminate hosted access, marketplace publishing, or paid hosted features if you violate these Terms, create security or abuse risk, fail to pay, submit unlawful or harmful content, or use Recued in a way that could harm users, Recued, or third parties.
If you are assigned a Recued handle and a <handle>.recued.net subdomain (or any subdomain on a Recued-operated domain), you are solely responsible for all activity conducted under that handle and subdomain. You may not use it for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activity, including spam, phishing, malware distribution, or infringement. We may revoke the subdomain and suspend or terminate the associated account immediately, and without prior notice, if we reasonably determine such use has occurred or that the subdomain creates security or abuse risk.
You authorize Recued to disclose your account identity and contact information to a party that presents credible evidence of actionable harm caused through your handle or subdomain, where disclosure is necessary to address that harm or to comply with our obligations to a domain registry or a legal authority.
15. Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute relating to them or to Recued's hosted or paid services, are governed by the laws of the Macao Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Where you use Recued as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
