Recued Bridge Terms

These Bridge Terms apply to the Recued Bridge browser extension. They are separate from the Terms of Service, which govern Recued's hosted services, accounts, marketplace publishing, and paid subscriptions.

Bridge needed its own terms because it is the one Recued surface you can use without an account, a purchase, or any hosted service — so the hosted-service agreement does not reach it, and an extension with no terms at all leaves both sides without an agreed position.

• Free, and not a route to anything paid — no checkout, subscription, or entitlement.
• Open source — distributed under AGPL v3; these terms do not reduce that licence.
• You hold the keys — your server, your site grants, your recipes.

Recued Bridge is published by RECUED LDA, registration number 114082 (SO), RM C1 9/F, Edf. Centro Comercial Chong Fok, 26-28 Avenida Marciano Baptista, Macau ("Recued", "we", "us").

1. Acceptance and scope

By installing, pairing, or using Recued Bridge you agree to these Bridge Terms. If you do not agree, do not install it, or uninstall it.

These Bridge Terms cover the extension only. They do not cover the Recued server software you install, the marketplace, a Recued account, or Recued Pro.

2. No purchase and no paid relationship

Recued Bridge is supplied free of charge.

Installing, pairing, or using Bridge does not create a purchase, subscription, account, entitlement, or paid-service relationship with Recued, and does not oblige you to buy anything. The extension contains no checkout, purchase link, payment flow, advertising, paid-feature promotion, or subscription entitlement check, and it unlocks no paid feature.

Recued separately offers optional paid hosted conveniences. Those are governed by the Terms of Service and the Billing & Refund Policy, are bought elsewhere, and change nothing about how Bridge behaves.

3. Licence

Recued Bridge is open-source software distributed under the **GNU Affero General Public License, version 3**. A copy of that licence is included in the extension package as LICENSE, and the source is published at github.com/recued/recued.

Your rights to use, copy, modify, and redistribute the extension's code come from the AGPL. Nothing in these Bridge Terms reduces, replaces, or adds conditions to the rights that licence grants you. Where these Bridge Terms and the AGPL conflict as to the code, the AGPL governs.

4. What you are responsible for

Bridge is an actuator. It carries out browser steps that your Recued server asks for, on sites you have granted, and it holds no automation logic of its own. You are responsible for:

• the Recued server you pair it with, and for keeping that server secure;
• the recipes you install, approve, or run, and their effects on third-party

sites and accounts;

• the site permissions you grant, and revoking them when you no longer want them;
• complying with the terms of any website or service that a recipe acts on; and
• reviewing consequential actions before approving them.

Do not use Bridge to break into systems you are not authorised to use, to circumvent a site's access controls or security measures, to send spam, to distribute malware, to infringe someone's rights, or for anything unlawful.

5. Permissions and site access

Bridge declares these Chrome permissions:

Bridge ships with empty default host permissions. It declares optional_host_permissions as :///* so Chrome can ask you for one specific origin when an approved action needs it. That wildcard defines what may be requested later; it grants nothing at installation. You can refuse a request, and you can revoke any granted site in Chrome's extension settings at any time.

Bridge does not request or use cookies, webRequest, webRequestBlocking, history, bookmarks, tabCapture, desktopCapture, pageCapture, proxy, vpnProvider, debugger, or literal <all_urls> blanket host access.

6. No remotely hosted code

All executable code is contained in the published extension package. Bridge does not download or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly. Commands received from your paired server are data handled by packaged dispatchers; they are never evaluated as code.

7. Browser-store commitments

Recued's use of information received from browser APIs and Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• Allowed use. Extension data is used only to provide or improve user-facing

Bridge features — pairing, approved browser actions, approvals, notifications, diagnostics, and support.

• Allowed transfer. Extension data is transferred only where needed to

provide or improve Bridge, to comply with law, to protect against abuse, to complete an action you selected, or in a merger, acquisition, or sale with required consent where applicable. It is never transferred to process a payment or to market paid services.

• No advertising use. Extension data is never used or transferred for

personalised advertising, retargeting, interest-based advertising, data brokerage, or creditworthiness or lending decisions.

• Human access limits. Recued personnel do not read your content — page

contents, emails, CRM records, files, prompts, or recipe outputs — unless you give explicit consent for support, access is required for a security or abuse investigation, access is required by law, or the data is aggregated or anonymised for internal operations.

You must not modify, repackage, or configure Bridge in a way that breaks browser-store rules, the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, or another user's consent, and then distribute it as Recued Bridge.

8. Privacy

What Bridge stores, what it sends to your server, and what Recued can and cannot see are described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Bridge Terms. In short: recipe execution and connected-service credentials stay on the server you control, and Recued's hosted services do not receive your Bridge data.

9. No warranty

Recued Bridge is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recued disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and any warranty that an automated action will be accurate, complete, safe, lawful, or appropriate for your situation.

Review actions before approving them, particularly where legal, financial, medical, employment, safety, privacy, or security consequences may follow.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recued is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, third-party service failures, or the effects of actions you approved through a recipe.

Because Bridge is supplied free of charge, no fee-based cap is meaningful. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recued's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Recued Bridge is limited to one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).

Nothing in these Bridge Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you use Bridge as a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected, and some jurisdictions do not allow some of these exclusions, so they apply only as far as the law allows.

11. Ending these terms

You may stop at any time: uninstall the extension, revoke its site permissions, and clear its local storage through your browser's controls. Uninstalling ends these Bridge Terms for you, except for sections that by their nature survive (licence, disclaimers, liability, governing law).

Recued may stop publishing or updating Bridge, and may change or discontinue it. Because you run Bridge locally, we cannot and do not remotely disable a copy you have installed; your rights in the code continue under the AGPL.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Bridge Terms. The version published at https://recued.com/bridge-terms when you use Bridge is the version that applies, and the date at the top records the last change. Material changes will be reflected in that date; continuing to use Bridge after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the extension.

13. Governing law

These Bridge Terms, and any dispute relating to Recued Bridge, are governed by the laws of the Macao Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Where you use Bridge as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings there where the law gives you that right.
